Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a fantastic location make this spot ideal for budget-conscious travelers. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, and the beds were comfortable, setting the stage for a restful night. The mattresses could use more padding, and the breakfast selection was limited. While there were some downsides, the value for the price paid is noteworthy, especially for a quick overnight stay.

Popular accommodation with magnificent setting so close to New Hampshire, all the best hiking trails, and the train tracks. Relatively cheap and sensational breakfast with a great selection of options to choose from.

I found the clean rooms and friendly staff to be fantastic for my weekend getaway, and enjoying the nearby Moose Brook State Park was a refreshing experience. If you're a solo traveler looking for a cozy spot to rest, this place offers that perfect blend of comfort and convenience.

The room was clean and had all the basics covered-a fridge and comfy beds. The A/C worked perfectly, and I loved the nice pool. The owners were friendly, which always helps. Just a note, though, the decor felt a bit dated, but overall, it was a decent stay for the price.

Location. Proximity to the Presidential range and Mount Washington.
Way too expensive, I got gouged because it was during peak period. The Shower didn't work in the morning because I'm assuming, inadequate water pressure. There was no microwave, or coffee maker in the room,.

It was the only room available within 25 miles of North Conway under $200/night. No real choice. And they do have free wifi.
The housekeeping staff does a good job (clean sheets, towels, etc.) but this is an ancient facility where everything is on its last legs.

The location was very convenient, with a good Chinese buffet right across the hotel.
The mattress had no padding, and pillows were flat with little filling.

The staff was friendly, location was easy to find and close to restaurants, the room was clean, and the water was HOT! It was nice to havea small refrigerator and microwave in the room for an extended stay. The heater was also VERY efficient, to the point we had to open the window and turn it off for a while.
I did not like that you had to go into the office for ice. The television was very small, and there was no alarm clock in the room. The bed was a little uncomfortable. It was a convenient place to stay, but not a spectacular hotel.

Well situated directly on the highway. Town of Gorham offers a good selection of restaurants and other amenities which are easy to access. Town is located in the mountains and has a great deal of hiking, fishing and hunting areas nearby, for those who are interested.
Exterior is well maintained but they should try to implement a program to start to up-grade the rooms. Bathroom fixtures are dated and electrical outlets are sparse. Bed was comfortable, linens clean and fresh, but housekeeping was over-looking the cleaning of the mirror in the room as well as TV screen and window which is even more important in a smoking room.

The location was convenient, just a
Short drive to Mt. Washington, and the staff were friendly. While the room was clean, the bedding could use some upgrades for better comfort during the nights.

The location was perfect to visit Mt. Washington. I would liked to have used the outdoor pool but we arrived late and left early. The manager was very pleasant and accomidating. Plenty of parking.
The beds weren't the most comfortable and AC was extremely noisy. Decor dated but clean.

The room smelled like a "cleaning agent" and there was no hot water and we had five showers to take!!!

clean bathroom, reasonable cost, nice pool
The room could benefit from updated furniture!!! Better soundproofing would make a huge difference during the night!!! Outdated air conditioning units need serious upgrades to ensure comfort!!!

The location was nice..could walk to restaurants.
The room was not very clean...cobwebs were under the bed, candy wrappers and candy also. The day we arrived it was windy and cold...this after several hot days in the area. We were traveling with my elderly Father-in- law and his room was too cold for him. When I went to the office to tell them that the heater didn't work....He said and I quote: " Heat, Heat....yesterday it was hot and everyone wanted air-conditioning. No I won't turn on the heat." No extra blanket or bedspread was offered. I have traveled extensively in the us and have never had a room where you couldn't turn on the heat. This was a cheap room but I have stayed in much cleaner and nicer places for the money...let alone nicer people.
